Professor Alan F. Segal died February 13. 2011 after a long illness. This great scholar will be known for his great publications like: Two Powers in Heaven. Early Rabbinic Reports About Christianity and Gnosticism, SJLA, no. 25 (Leiden: E. J. Brill, 1977), but also for his many other contributions.
